Get your video camcorders out, and see if your team has what it takes to capture, ON VIDEO, ten different funny Christmas scenarios. Teams must either be an individual team consisting of 2-4 individuals, or a Civic Organization/Company. There is no entry fee, and groups wanting to enter the contest, should Pre-Register. Forms can either be picked up and submitted at The Independence Chamber of Commerce, or downloaded and emailed to the Chamber on their website , www.indkschamber.org. Videos must be submitted in digital format (MPEG, WMV, AVI or DVD Compatible) at the Chamber of Commerce office by December 10th, and must be no longer than 10 minutes in length. For instructions on converting video, please contact the Chamber of Commerce office. Winners will be announced Dec 17^th, via local newspapers, and the Independence Chamber of Commerce Website. There will be 1st- 3^rd place prizes awarded for the individual Group teams, with First Prize being $300 Main Street Bucks. There will be ONE Grand Prize for the Civic Org/ Company winner, which will receive $400 to donate to a local Independence charity/ cause of their choice. All winning teams will also be invited to attend the “Party with Santa” Contest Celebration in December. All Participants will receive an Event T-Shirt.
