Where
is the festival?
At the Little House on the
Prairie, 13 miles SW of Independence, KS off of Highway 75. The

What
does it cost?
Admission
is $2.00 per person. This will allow you to experience all of the
events at the festival. Tickets are available at the door. Cash and
Checks will be accepted. For large groups, please contact Jill
Engstrom at the Independence Chamber of Commerce for advance
ticketing.
Where
can I park?
A
parking lot has been roped off across the street (to the South) from
the Little House on the Prairie. Please do not park on the side of
the road because this causes hazards for children crossing the
street. Handicap parking will be available in front of the Little
House on the Prairie, please display your handicap parking permit.
Will
streets be closed during the festival?
No,
there will not be any street closings, but please be cautious of
children when driving on the roads adjacent to the festival.
What
about restroom facilities?
The
Little House on the Prairie has permanent restrooms for men and
women at the site.
What
if I get hungry at the festival?
You’ll
find plenty of food and beverages at the festival from local
vendors.
Can
I bring my pet to the festival?
Due
to the use of animals in the reenactments, please leave your pets at
home.
